View Art for Madagascar BlogIn ProgressWe are in the prosess of updating the Art for Madagascar blog which is a huge task. Paula has thousands of excellent explanatory photos! We are working on editing the photos into categories, for example, the Fiana clothing factory support workshop, the Feedback eco tourism trail with the village weavers, my Soamiray workshop in Ambohimahamasina, the Silk Trail in the village of Soatanana and many more. I am writing reports to accompany the photos which will complete phase two of the Art for Madagascar project.We will be sending out the completed blog to continue our search for funding, and I will be sending the Feedback eco trail package to Hilary Bradt to include in the Bradt Madagascar Guide. Paula is in the process of completing a set of drawings for Feedback, and I am thinking up designs to send to my 'students' in Ambohimahamasina and to the recycled metal factory in Tana for Violette et Dieudonné, which might also be of use for a new Feedback initiative... |
